Yesterday Thu. the 1st of Nov. 2012 at around 5 PM Chicago time our datacenter was hit with a massive DDoS attack which was then followed by a brute force Solus API hack attempt. The DDoS took us offline just long enough to let our defense down, after which they hit full force with an API brute force on Solus. The sole purpose of this attack was to destroy data, nothing less.

During this attack the hackers literally trashed 7 of our VPS Node's entirely. We had no choice but to shutdown the network until we could stop them before they trashed more than 7 hard drives through Solus. We unfortunately lost the drives on those 7 systems. We have as of right now restored the vast majority of VPS unit's and still have a few left over to fix and restore.

We thank you for your patience during this attempt and continued recovery.
